Something broken, confusing, or missing? Email support@scalene.app and you will get a reply from the person who wrote the app.

Reporting a bug? Include these.

  • Your device and OS version.
  • The Scalene version, from Settings.
  • What you expected, and what happened instead.
  • For notification problems: roughly when the deployment ran, and whether it showed up in the app itself.

Please do not send your Vercel API token. Support will never ask for it.

Common questions

How do I sign in?
Create a Vercel access token at vercel.com/account/tokens and paste it into Scalene. Give it access to the teams you want to see. There is no Scalene account to create.
Why am I not getting notifications?
Check three things in order: that notifications are allowed for Scalene in system Settings, that the team is enabled in Scalene's notification settings, and that the token you signed in with administers that team — Scalene needs team admin access to register the webhook.
Can I get different notifications on my iPhone and my Mac?
Yes. Preferences are stored per device, so muting a project on your Mac leaves your iPhone untouched.
Why does it ask for my token again when I change settings?
It does not ask again — the app reuses the token you already pasted. It sends it once per settings change so the relay can verify with Vercel that you administer the team. The token is not stored by the relay.
Which platforms are supported?
iPhone and iPad on iOS 17 or later, and Mac on macOS 14 or later. The Mac version is a native app, not an iPad app in a window.
Is this made by Vercel?
No. Scalene is an independent client that talks to Vercel's public API. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Vercel Inc.
